Client-First Legal Representation Across Idaho

Kulaga Law Office opened its doors in December 2024. It was founded by Rebecca A. Kulaga, a solo attorney with more than ten years of varied legal and court experiences in Idaho. From the beginning, the focus has been simple: listen carefully, communicate clearly, and treat people like people. Kulaga Law Office exists to serve people—not just case files.

Rebecca believes no one should feel alone in a legal crisis. From criminal defense to estate planning, her mission is to advocate fiercely and communicate clearly, no matter the case. When someone reaches out to Kulaga Law Office , they’re dealing directly with the attorney handling the case. There’s no handoff. No layers. Just honest answers and steady follow-through.

Rebecca A. Kulaga | Attorney, Law Firm Owner

Raised in southwest rural North Dakota, Rebecca grew up in the country riding quarter horses. At the age of eighteen, she set a goal to become an attorney. The law opened a career field where she could help people, continually learn, and support her community. Deciding on where to go to college was an easy decision, she always loved Bozeman, Montana. She grew up skiing with her family every year at Big Sky. Rebecca attended Montana State University in Bozeman and graduated in 2005.

In 2008, Rebecca moved to Omaha, Nebraska to attend law school. She graduated from Creighton University School of Law in May 2011. After graduating, Rebecca wanted to return to the mountains and moved to Boise, Idaho, obtained her law license in September 2011, and entered law practice.

Rebecca began her career at Idaho Legal Aid Services as a Staff Attorney, primarily practicing in family law. In 2014, she transitioned to working at Ada County in court programs, including Domestic Violence Court and Family Court Services. Rebecca gained valuable experience mediating various legal case types, working with judges, and helping pro se parties navigate the court system. In 2023, Rebecca went back to law practice as a Deputy Public Defender for Ada County. In 2024, Rebecca created her own law firm as a solo practitioner.

Legal Services You Can Count On

Communication is not an afterthought at Kulaga Law Office . It’s part of the work. Rebecca built her practice around being accessible and responsive, because clients deserve to know where things stand.

Legal situations don’t all move at the same pace. Some develop quickly. Others take time. In both cases, clients are kept informed. Questions are answered. Calls are returned. That consistency matters, especially when the stakes are high.

Clients come to Kulaga Law Office for many reasons. Some are dealing with criminal charges. Others are navigating custody issues or putting an estate plan in place. In every situation, the goal stays the same: clear guidance and steady representation from start to finish.
